Okay, sorry folks, but I have heard from a few of you, and apparently my letter was not clear enough on one point. If you send a check to Flagler Beach United Methodist Church with "ZOE ministry" in the memo line, it WILL be designated for my mission trip. I am the only person going from my church, so it will not go to anyone else. Currently in the works as far as other fund-raising efforts are the initiation of conversation with Wal-Mart about having a bake sale in the front of the store, and I have contacted the UMW (United Methodist Women) presidents of the two other local Methodist churches. The UMW is very devoted to providing aid especially to women and children, and my own UMW has already been of great help! I know that God is going to make this happen - thanks to all of you for being a part of it!

About ZOE
In many African countries, orphaned children are raising their brothers and sisters due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. In response, ZOE Ministry shares the Love of Christ and gives hope to vulnerable children in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya and Rwanda through their Giving Hope Empowerment Project and their Relief Ministry.

The Plan
If you had told Terry a year ago that in July of 2010 she would be going on a mission trip to Rwanda, she would have laughed and responded, "Only by the grace of God."
It's amazing what God can do in a year!
It started with an email about ZOE Ministry, and God laid these precious orphans on Terry's heart. The cost of the trip might have kept her from following God's plan if it hadn't been for God Himself paving the way. After blessing her with enough for the down payment, He has continued to bring people into her life who are both willing and able to help her achieve her goal.
You can help as well. First and foremost, Terry needs your prayers and good thoughts, as well as advice from others who have been on mission trips, especially to Africa.
Second, while God continues to provide, Terry still needs additional funds by April 15, 2010. If you feel led to contribute, checks can be made payable to Flagler Beach United Methodist Church (please write "ZOE Ministry" in the subject line) and mailed to Flagler Beach United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 929, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.
